Amanda's story 'Very Very Lucky' was published on the 9th January 2024, making it her thirtieth novel to go into print and a great landmark to hit in the New Year.
In addition to her novels, Amanda has co-authored or written two non fiction works, 'The Boy Between' and 'Women Like Us' and in addition to those titles, 'Something Quite Beautiful' a compendium of seven of her novellas has also been published, making thirty-three full length books altogether.
Amanda said of reaching this landmark "I feel immensely fortunate to have been able to follow my dream of becoming an author. Producing the first couple was certainly the hardest part as I was still juggling writing around my work commitments, however after the success of early books making it possible to write full time, my journey has been a lot easier to navigate in recent years".
One of the most prolific authors writing today, asked if she would consider slowing down, Amanda replied "I couldn't slow down if I wanted to, my head is constandly buzzing with ideas for new stories and I have another fifty titles battling to be written next". She continued, "I look forward to working with my amazing publisher Lake UnionI and brilliant editorial team to produce the most topical and enduring stories that I can."
Amanda also had another message for her reading friends "I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has read my books, written such kind and generour reviews online and those who share their love of my stories with others, it makes all the difference".
